I can drink Maple Syrup Too

There’s
always that point when pouring any syrup, you have to decide. The decision to
stop pouring and concentrate on consumption is a tough one for me, I like my
syrups in vast quantities, and as this is my final year in which I feel the
effects of metabolism will favour my easy-going-eat-that-some-more outlook, I’ll
continue to pour. I mean, I do think “wowy, your drowning the pancak-ey goodness
Callum!” but I’m always wrong, I can never have too much maple syrup – I can
drink the stuff, and on a work night-out I asked the waitress for Maple Syrup
with my french fries… because I could. The boss was Canadian, it was as if
through my consuming his country’s best loved syrupy-export in great quantities
I would get further up the sticky advertising pole… I
didn’t.Caitlin once promised me ‘ a
can’ no less of Maple Syrup… the real stuff, Canadian export, a can. I would
have carried that can proudly to the lunch table in my school days… not so to
the local eatery these days, that Kramer-ism wouldn’t go down well in old Huntly
town. So, losing track again. I finally
found a pancake mix that works for me. Make your favourite “to the bat mobile”
sound effect as you link through. (Link)

this is an old post - the formatting may be jumbled
it may simply make no sense... i was young!
