| Ever wonder who’ll play yourself in a film of your life? Ira asks, you see - it’s a ridiculous question because no one will ever make a film of you’re ridiculous life, no matter how complicated you make the relationships, no matter how stunning the main man - or how tall, exotic, thin and nude the leading brunette — you’re life, the moments in it won’t sell. Oh, in Ira’s case they did sell, and a script was penned, I have no further details. I’ll find out one day I’m sure. For most of us however, an upbringing consisting of Film rather than Cartoon has less than a blessing. Firstly, I have expectations based on screenplays - when things get slow or dull, never-mind they’ll be an uplifting scene between man and wife soon. You can’t CUT TO: in life. That’s sad, what’s not sad is that I’ve got myself thinking in terms of what is visually– I’ll explain later I’m getting side tracked… I discovered WBEZ’s “This American Life” a few weeks ago, I had come home from a night out with friends and it was very early… I’ll list my favourite shows, they are all available for download, No. 42 is great (Listen) I’ll get back to this later. Now the courtroom is quiet, but who will confess?
Is it true you betrayed us?
The answer is Yes.
Then read me the list of the crimes that are
mine,
I will ask for the mercy that you love to
decline.
And all the ladies go moist, and the judge has
no choice,
a singer must die for the lie in his
voice. And I thank you, I thank you for doing your
duty,
you “Keepers of truth”, you “Guardians of
beauty”.
Your vision is right, my vision is
wrong,
I’m sorry for smudging the air with my
song.
Oh, the night it is thick, my defences are
hit
in the close of a woman I would like to
forgive,
in the rings of her silk, in the hinge of her
thighs,
where I have to go begging in
beauty’s
disguise.Oh goodnight,
goodnight.
My night after
night.
my night after night, after night, after night,
after night, after
night.I am so
afraid that I listen to you,
those sun glassed protectors, they do that to
you.
It’s their ways to detain, their ways to
disgrace,
their knee in your balls and their fist in your
face.
Yes and long live the state by whoever it’s
made;
Sir, I didn’t see nothing, I was just getting
home late.

In This
short rant I explain why Wanadoo feel it’s fine to use Apple products (world
re-known for ‘just work’[ing]) to explore their shoddy service which does not
Just Work. NOR does it support the modern Apple Macintosh OS (as loaded on above
iBook / Powerbook). I’ll talk about my experience with Wanadoo Customer Service
(who never sent a replacement modem) and my deep regret at ever getting involved
with such a foul business. (Read
