If you, or your band, name your album “How to
Dismantle an Atomic Bomb” it may be mistaken for the U2 album of the same title.
*badoom chh*. Well
target="NewWindow">U2.com are Streaming the whole album, its out on
Monday. So far my feelings are positive. It’s not the best, or better than the
last. But it stands out as being a fairly average, overall easy-listening U2
album. The tracklistings are still a mystery, as much as the artwork. There are
some positives; U2 have not lost
it,
they’ve certainly not gained more of
it but
then again define
it.
It’s the
stuff that makes them the Best and Biggest band in the world, certainly, but is
that a definition created by the following of a band, of four people. Or is it
about progression and development of the U2 sound, something this album does -
in part. Bono once said “We’ve gotta go
home, dream it all up again“. Then dream out
loud Bono, don’t leave it in the duty free.

Valve Software, It’s Just a Game: November, 2004.
(Link)
& (
target="NewWindow">Trailer)_Update:
It’s still going strong (Monday 22nd Novemver) I’m just getting into the Physics
of this game. Although many have completed it already - I’ve never been a great
slugger-out at Video Games. So, it’s pretty. The graphics blow you away, the
city-scape that welcomes you is some Cold-War-esque Western Europe setting, it’s
airy yet grim. An ominous voice of Orwellian source pumps out anti-Freeman
speak. It’s scary, and it’s very real (for a minute or two). Anyway, it all gets
crazy something goes wrong - I don’t yet ‘get’ the story. I have a real issue
with what initiates the plot, the action is pure Half-Life, the old tricks are
there. No cheating yet. Alot of screaming and saving. It’s tough but rewarding
in visuals. Enjoy.
