Eggs beans and DoS a Spammer

Spam; what a topic. I remember in my pre-.Mac days
when I’d get spam, some humorous, most harmless some down-right harassing…
What can you do? Well, delete the file of course - maybe add the address to your
spam-blocker, you could reply ‘with
“unsubscribe’ in the title’
(DON’T
- if you reply to a spam e-mail the server
knows there’s someone at the other end.

have designed a target="NewWindow">Screensaver that harnesses your idle PSU and
connection to DoS the Spammers’ servers. A Denial of Service attack is like you-
and all your buddies trying to get into a small door - all at once, with less
than humerous results. A DoS on a server should - with enough ‘friends’ bring it
to the ground. The Screensaver is loaded with server addresses - all you have to
do is watch the James Bond-esque graphics help destroy the Spamming world. href="http://loosewire.typepad.com/blog/2004/11/lycos_and_one_w.html"

I’d tend to agree. Tempting as it is to do this
kind of thing, it’s not the way to go, and I’m surprised that Lycos is doing it.
My bet is that Lycos Europe finds itself on the end of its own DDoS attack from
vengeful
