Produced by Ben Folds

Please take some time to look at Has Been it’s a great flash
site (a rarity) and includes all the tracks from the new album and some really
interesting Ben Foldian video snippets. And, really check out the other tracks
other than Common People, because this is rather good. (Link) On
second listen, some tracks - 75% are dubious, I mean questionable - integrity of
the shatter voice, take that Treckies.

This, There and That

On the updating front, in regards this site -
Callum Alden’s Homepage - I’m going to be incorporating some exciting content
into the site here over the next few months, as I’m just about to formally
launch this site, I thought i’d write up a sort of reminder to myself, incase I
lose my way… So, I’ve got a pile of notes, midnight doodles by Billy, jotters
(”hilariously” glued together during stolid Physics double-periods by him who
shall be made ominous: Q) and writings by myself and Owen, from way-back when…
I’ve also a collection of 90min DV tapes from parties, weekends out and
campfires of which I don’t have the heart to convert to VHS and store away. The
idea is that those items are soon to be condemned to R-Kive boxes, and dark (and
mostly damp it must be said) cupboards, as I trot off - leaving home and the
security of my wardrobe (not to be confused with closet…). Instead of
forgetting all the hours of German made bearable by via Kyle’s evil-tron
sketches and William’s space-man suit cut-out gadgetery I’ll gather them all
up, scan them, in no particular order, and post them on here… in one big
meta-comment I may call Meta Comment, in fact I will. So, this section of the
site (see misc for a taster) will be a self-explanatory delve into moments that
made life what it is - was. I hope you enjoy it, if you don’t care for that, the
X is up on the right, and for Mac users - over there on the left. Enjoy, the
times they are a’ changing.

Callum Alden: the retrospective

Retrospective, not quite. I don’t mean this site to
become one big Callum-fest, but to incorporate everything that made the last few
years fun I’ve dug out files of
hilarious”
scripts (21st Century Mox Stylee) and photographs, audio and video clips,
they’ll all be appearing on my homepage in the coming months, and I’ve been
working on the video in particular this last few weeks. A prime example is the
Making of A 30 Second Ad, this is circa 2003, and stars myself (Callum Alden),
Billy Lindsay, William Rennie, Craig Shand, and Kenneth Robinson… I’ve
uploaded a teaser
in the Windows Media file format *spit* - it’s teasing (in the way Godfather
Part III was
testing)
but hey! you may star in it - so give it a go. (Stream
Here)

The rest of the retrospective content will be up in a few weeks; in a redesign
of Call’s Homepage, check it out.
